 Everest Standard Trek
|
|
An addition, to the Everest base camp is the trek up to the Gokyo Valley / Fifth Lake. It is located in the valley immediately west of the Khumbu valley and as far less crowded than its better-known neighbor to the east. Gokyo valley has only one traditional permanent settlement; the rest being summer pastures now catering to the passing trekkers. It is best sight to see the Himalayan panorama.

Days 01 : Meeting upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport by our representative, transfer to hotel. |
Days 02 : Sightseeing at Kathmandu valley, overnight at hotel. |
Days 03 : Fly to Lukla (2800meters) and start trek to Phakding (2640meters), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 04 : Trek to Namche Bazaar (3440meters), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 05 : Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (day hike to Thame village), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 06 : Trek to Dole (4085meters), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 07 : Trek to Machhermo (4410meters), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 08 : Trek to Gokyo Lake (4750meters), overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 09 : Trek to Fifth Lake (5000meters) and back to Gokyo Lake, overnight at guesthouse. |
Days 10 : Trek to Gokyo RI (5320meters) and back to Machhermo, overnight at guesthouse. |
