Pike Trek (13 Days)
Pike Trek Pike Danda is equally exciting a route for nature lovers. This Danda (Hill) has some 108 natural water springs encircling the hillock. Beautiful and fascinating scenic views from the hillock and authentic indigenous cultures to be experienced on the way are some of the unforgettable attractions of the route. With 8 of the world's 10 highest peaks, Nepal is endowed with spectacular mountains vistas. The goal of this trek is of course, to experience truly uninterrupted views of Everest and other soaring peaks like Lhotse and Rolwaling. It is a wonderful trek suitable for both novices and experienced trekkers alike. A gradual ascent through a green river valley leads up to a number of small passes where Pike (say Pie Kee) Peak is the highest point at 4065m. This trek offers forests, waterfalls, rice fields, diverse villages, mountain views and beautiful ridge walks. You'll also see Sherpa villages and monasteries and experience firsthand the rich Sherpa culture. Teahouse facilities are available from Jiri to Bhandar that may be an option to consider.
